Today I saw a man get intensely irate at another patron of the fine eating establishment that he was visiting. I can only assume that he had such a dire emergency situation, that wasn’t apparent to the casual viewer, that he was totally in the right to be exhibiting such behavior. Obviously, he was a very important person who should not be detained from what he needs or wants to do and the offending patron didn’t recognize that. I was afraid that the situation was going to come to blows, or worse, as I watched from my car in the drive-thru lane of McDonalds as the offending patron cut in line in front of the important man. Lord only know what the ramifications were when that important man was pulled off his task for the extra 1.7 minutes that it took the other driver to collect their delicious lunch and drive off. I can only wonder what the future holds now because of that break in the time continuum cycle.
